Clean for inspection, not disguise
Remove trash and personal belongings, vacuum the interior, wash the exterior, and clean glass. Do not conceal damage, warning lights, odors, or mechanical problems.
Take complete photos
Photograph every side, wheels, tires, interior rows, cargo area, dashboard, odometer, and each visible defect in even daylight.
Gather records and accessories
Find maintenance records, title or lender information, registration, both keys, manuals, charging cables, removable cargo equipment, and warranty documents.
Remove personal data at handoff
After the sale is finalized, remove saved addresses, phone pairings, garage codes, app accounts, toll devices, and personal storage items.
